Welcome to beautiful China, with its 5000-year-old history, splendid culture, numerous historical heritages, and a variety of delicious Chinese food. This luxury tour will focus on the most popular cities in China, taking you to experience the selected luxury hotels in each city, taste the local delicious food at the selected wonderful restaurants, and tour the highlights of China. It will be a totally relaxing, fascinating, and generate a lifetime of memories.

Upon arrival, our local experienced tour guide and driver will hold a pick-up sign with your name and meet with you at the Arrival Hall of Beijing International Airport. Then be transferred to your hotel in the downtown core. The rest of the day, you are free to explore at your own leisure.

Night Show: Legend of KUNG FU

After enjoying the breakfast you will walk on Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historical events. Next, discover the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where the 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years.

Lunch will be a delicious, local Chinese meal.

This afternoon, continue on to visit the famous Temple of Heaven, the landmark of Beijing, which was once used to pray for good harvests, and for the Heaven Worshiping Ceremony by the Ming and Qing dynasty emperors. Tonight, we will arrange the local specialty of Peking Roasted Duck Dinner at DA DONG KAO YA Restaurant as the welcome dinner.

After dinner, drive to the fantastic Legend of Kung Fu Performance. The performance showcases the fantastic story that how a young kid grows up to a Kungfu Master. It's an incredible combination of martial art, acrobatics, and dancing. After the show, drive back to the hotel.

Day 3 Beijing

Meals: Buffet breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Imperial Cuisine at BAI JIA DA YUAN Restaurant.

This morning, you will be transferred to visit the world famous Great Wall (Mutianyu Section), which is listed as a World Heritage Site. The Great Wall at Mutianyu used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and imperial tombs in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). This section is surrounded by woodland and streams. It is a section restored in the early 1980s, however, it retains the original feature of an ancient defense system. It’s easily accessible, and about 45 miles away from Beijing.

Mutianyu offers a wonderfully satisfying experience of the Great Wall. It has superb scenery, dense vegetation, and many fine watchtowers in an excellent restored section. The brickwork is elaborate, with finely curved eaves on some watch-tower roofs. There are decorative gables with animal statues, and tablets bearing calligraphy above some entrances.

You will be picked up at your hotel in Beijing at 8:30 am, then drive to Mutianyu (1.5 hours). Once there, you will take the leisurely cable car up the Great Wall. You can decide a walk a section on the Wall depending on your physical condition, and enjoying the fantastic views on the wall. After the tour, take the cable car down the Wall.

Lunch will be organized at the foot of the Great Wall.

This afternoon, drive to the largest imperial garden, The Summer Palace, which was built in the late Qing Dynasty as the summer resort for the Empress Dowager Cixi. Enjoy the fascinating landscape within the palace grounds.

Tonight, we will arrange you with the traditional Imperial and Beijing Cuisine at the nice courtyard BAI JIA DA YUAN. Located close to the Summer Palace, it was originally built to accommodate the descendants of the Prince Dai Shan of Qing Dynasty. Now it is converted into the high-end Chinese restaurant which provides the traditional imperial cuisines and Beijing cuisines. Servers at the restaurant will wear the traditional clothing of the Man Minority, which is the unique among all the restaurants in Beijing.

Day 4 Beijing-Xian (by air, First Class)

This morning, the trip starts from the ancient Bell and Drum Tower. Built in Ming Dynasty, it was used as the center to denote official time for the capital city during the Ming and Qing dynasties. You will have the chance to enjoy the traditional performance of drum striking. The tower is located at the central axis of the capital.

Next, take a leisurely rickshaw tour in Beijing Hutong. You will have the chance to see the original residence of the local people, and experience its traditional lifestyle. After that, drive to visit the new tourist highlight, 798 ART ZONE (also called DASHANZI ART DISTRICT). Located in Chaoyang District, the area was converted from state-owned electronic factories and developed into the new cultural landmark of Beijing. This district contains the ART Gallery, Art Center, Theater, Art Studio, Designing Studio, Restaurants etc. You will have time to explore, have a cup of coffee, and relax.

After the tour, drive to the airport for the departing flight to the ancient legendary city Xi’an, which served as the capital city of 13 dynasties. Once there, be picked up and transferred to the hotel.

Overnight at the luxury Sofitel Legend Hotel in Xi’an. Opened as a state guesthouse in 1953, this iconic building provides a unique sense of place and time in a city that was China's capital throughout 13 dynasties. The architecture is a harmonious blend of French and Sino-Russian, in addition to traditional local styles. It contains spacious rooms, lofty ceilings, elegant molding, and art deco features. Located inside the city walls, within walking distance of the historic Bell and Drum towers and the Muslim Street adjacent to modern shopping and entertainment areas, the hotel has the best location for guests to experience the picturesque Xi'an.

Day 5 Xian

Attractions: Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Former Residence of Family Gao (Puppet play Show incl.)

After breakfast, you will start to explore the ancient city. First, visit the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army was created to guard Emperor Qin Shihuang's tomb and to protect him in the afterlife. It is estimated that there are over 7,000 life-size Terracotta figures and horses buried here.

Lunch will be a delicious local Chinese meal.

This afternoon you will visit the landmark of the city - Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the square pyramid stands at 60 meters high and seven-storeys high. It was built to restore the Buddhist scriptures brought by the famous Monk Xuanzang. After that, visit the Grand Mosque, which was initially constructed in 742 A.D. It is an extraordinary and large-scale architecture complex, which shows the combination between Islamic belief and Chinese culture. Stroll around the nearby famous food street-Muslim Quarter. After the tour, drive back to your hotel.

Day 6 Xian-Chongqing-Yangtze River.

After breakfast, start your full-day tour to explore the metropolis. First, drive to visit the famous Yu Garden which is the most famous private garden in Shanghai built in 1559 A.D. It is known as the “Stunning Pearl” of Shanghai. Then, stroll around the bustling Shanghai Old Town, which features the Qing Dynasty style architecture. It is considered to be the “Root of Shanghai”.

Continue on the trip to the Former French Concession, which is lined with trees and well-preserved European style architecture. The former Shanghai French Concession is the earliest, larges,t and most prosperous concession among all the 4 concessions in modern China. It was established in 1849A.D. and ended in 1943 A.D.

Lunch will be authentic Shanghai Cuisine at the famous Xis Garden in the former French Concession.

This afternoon, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which is one of the most popular Buddhist temples in Shanghai. You can see the graceful and exquisite reclining Jade Buddha. Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum is also called Small White House for its similar appearance. You can see the exhibitions of traditional embroidery, carvings, and folk crafts there. Xintiandi, the new spotlight of Shanghai, which was renovated from the local stone-arched house into trendy boutiques, bars, and restaurants etc.

Dinner will be authentic French cuisine at the best French Restaurant on the Bund, Jean-Gorges. You will enjoy the gourmet food there, and stunning night view of Huangpu River.

Day 11 Shanghai-Hong Kong (by air, business class)

After that, drive around Lujiazui Financial Zone, which is considered to be the “Wall Street of China”, as many international banks and financial organizations gathered here.

After lunch, drive to the airport for the departure flight to the world-famous financial center, Hong Kong. Once there, be picked up and transferred to the luxury hotel Four Seasons. First, visit the famous Won Tai Sin Temple, built in 1921, which is the most visited Taoist temple in Hong Kong. Nan Lian Garden is a must-see place for anyone interested in Chinese culture, history, art, or gardening. The artfully cultivated trees are a wonder to behold. In Bird Garden, you can see over 150 categories birds. Continue on to visit Aberdeen, the local famous fishing village, which is well-known for the seafood and their lifestyle.

Next, visit the fascinating Repulse Bay, which is considered to the Asian Hawaii. The final stop is Victoria Peak. It is perhaps Hong Kong's most popular attraction among first-time visitors. You will take a peak tram which is pulled by steel cables and climbs 373 meters up to the peak. Looking down from the Peak, you'll be impressed by the spectacular view of the surrounding city skyline, the world-famous Victoria Harbor. After the tour, drive back to your hotel.
