Overview

Filled with swirly winding streets, parks, beaches, red-crowned hillside villas and iconic German architecture, Qingdao, borders the beautiful Yellow Sea. It offers a fresh breath of air and charming city backdrops.

Its literal name means, 'Green Island' and it is often praised for being one of China's cleanest and most beautiful cities; both embodying traditional and futuristic China.

There's so much to love about Qingdao, its superlative food scene will definitely satisfy your tastebuds.

The Yellow Sea helps with weather, providing cooler summers and warmer winters.

Qingdao has a population of over 3.5 million and is one of the largest cities in the Shandong province.

Day 1 Arrival in Qingdao (No meal included)

Welcome to day 1 of your Qingdao tour, it starts off easing you upon arrival at the Qingdao airport, where you will be greeted by a local English-speaking guide. You will see a welcome board with your name on it.

From there, we will escort you to your hotel in the city center.

Day 2 Qingdao (B, L)

Day 2 of your Qingdao tour includes a full day tour in Qingdao downtown.

First, after enjoying your nice buffet breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to visit the No.01 Bathing Beach.

The amazing scenery with its European touches are beautiful and are reminiscent to Bali, Hawaii and Samet Island in Thailand.

The beach is surrounded on three sides by mountains and is often regarded as the pearl of Huiquan Bay.

Here you'll find tourists sunbathing and swimming near the coast or playing volleyball and running on the sand.

Then, we head over to Xiaoyushan Park, the best point to overlook the Zhan Bridge—breathtaking.

Afterwards, we will make our way to Zhan Bridge. Many locals say a trip to Qingdao is incomplete without a trip to Zhan Bridge. Its 440-meter strip stretches into the sea and it is truly a sight to behold.

It was the first wharf at Qingdao and now is as the official symbol of Qingdao. Afterwards you will pay a visit to Small Qingdao Island, it lies to the southeast of Zhan Bridge in Qingdao Bay.

It is the perfect spot for ocean views, ideal for shutterbugs and Instagrammers.

Afterwards, you will be escorted to your hotel where you can have the rest of the evening to explore or do as you wish.

Day 3 Qingdao- Mt.Laoshan- Qingdao by private van (B, L)

Today is day 3 and your Qingdao tour starts with a pleasant trip to Mt. Laoshan.

Located in the east of Qingdao, Mt. Laoshan is the highest coastal mountain in China and the second highest mountain in Shandong province.

The round-trip cable car is included.

Mt. Laoshan is usually regarded as one of the "cradles of Taoism", which includes six designated scenic areas: Taiqing, Chessboard Stone, Yangkou, Jufeng, Beijiushui and Hualou scenic area.

The major visit today is to Taiqing Palace in the Taiqing scenic area, which is the largest, most ancient and valuable of the temples in Mt. Laoshan.

The palace covers three areas: Sanqing Hall in the middle; Sanguan Hall to the east; Sanhuang Hall to the west.

Afterwards, we will go for  lunch.

In the afternoon, you will be driven to Qingdao Beer Museum, which is located at the old place of Tsingtao Brewery Company.

You will have the chance to get close to the mysterious origins of beer and learn the long history of brewing, including learning about the instruments of the process.

In Qingdao the International Beer Festival is usually held in late August each year and lasts for 14 days.

You can attend it if your travel date meets the festival. After visiting, you will be transferred back your hotel for a well-deserved rest!

Day 4 Departure from Qingdao (B)

Today you will have a free and leisure morning where you can explore the city. You're also free to eat lunch wherever you wish as well.

After appointed time in the afternoon, you will be escorted to Qingdao airport, ending your Qingdao tour in China.
