Nestled near the Miyun County, Nanshan Ski Village is a quick 30-minute drive by the Jing Cheng Expressway and about 62 kilometres from the Wanghe Bridge in Beijing.
It opened in 2001 and has since become the largest and most advanced ski resort in China, boasting the most cutting-edge equipment and amenities.
Today, it has 25 trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers, including the famous snowboarding park.
The resort is equipped with a hi-tech snowmaking system and currently has 29 snowmaking machines.
If you feel inclined to learn how to snowboard, there is a snowboard school, which has 150 certified instructors.
As per accommodation options, the Shirton Inn overlooks the nearby Rimbaud Pond, which offers the most romantic residence in the ski resort.
Welcome to your Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort tour. Today starts when you meet your English speaking guide at the hotel at about 8:00am.
From there you will be driven to Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort which takes about 1.5 hours.
Located in the northeast of Beijing, the ski resort is the largest one in Beijing.
In total, it has 25 trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers, including the famous snowboarding park, the Nanshan Mellow Park, the first Mogul’s advanced trail in China and the children’s playground area.
There is also a ski learning center inside the resort.
All skiing learning programs are optional as well.
After skiing, you will enjoy lunch and after that, our tour guide will transfer you back to your hotel in Beijing.
