Lhasa Tour: Arrival
This Tibet tour eases you in when you arrive at Lhasa airport and meet one of our English speaking guides. From here we'll take you to straight the hotel in Lhasa with the rest of the tour group. For your convenience, the Sublime Tour bus leaves at 12:20pm and 4pm. If for whatever reason you arrive late after 4pm, contact us and we will arrange for a taxi to take you to the hotel. Fantasic, now that you're checked-in you can enjoy a few moments of free time on your own to relax. We appreciate it that on this Tibet tour you refrain from drinking alcohol, smoking or exhibit any sort of aggressive motions while in Tibet. Walk slowly and drink lots of water. Also, for your first day in Lhasa, please do not take a bath, it'll help your body adapt to the high altitude.
Lhasa Tour: Potala Palace, The Jokhang Temple, Barkhor

After breakfast, you will start your adventure in Lhasa with its landmark: the Potala Palace. This impressive 13-storey building used to be the winter abode for Dalai Lamas. Historic and magnificent, it is an iconic landmark in Tibet that can be seen from all over the city. It's also viewed as one of the region's top relic, a palace that dates back to 7th century A.D. -- breathtaking. But it doesn't stop there, the tour will then visit the most revered religious structures in Tibet: the Jokhang Temple. Jokhang, the most sacred temple you will ever find in Tibet. It refers to “Buddha’s House” in the Tibetan language because the main statue enshrined is said to be made by Buddha Sakyamuni himself in his lifetime. Jokhang Temple is the intersection of Tibet’s Spiritual and secular life, like Mecca for the Muslims. Here you can meet all the tribes from the Tibetan plateau. The surrounding market is called, Barkhor, one of the most important religious paths, which also attracts people and shopping foot traffic throughout the day.
Lhasa Tour: Drepung Monastery & Sera Monastery

After charging up over breakfast, the Lhasa tour group is set to visit two more important monasteries in Lhasa: the Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. The Sera Monastery was founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa. The Buddhism scripture debating among monks in Sera is very famous.

After breakfast, the Lhasa tour group checks out from the hotel, connecting with other travelers and making our way back to the airport. Our bus leaves the hotel at 7:30 am & 11 am. If your flight leaves before 9:30 am, we will arrange a taxi to take you to the airport.
