It's day one of your Shanghai tour and it starts when your English speaking guide meets you at Shanghai Pudong International Airport upon your arrival. From here you will be escorted to your hotel, along the way, our guide will give you a brief introduction to the city.
We understand that you may feel tired from your trip and may experience jet lag. After we safely escort you to your hotel, you'll have the freedom to do whatever you want until day 2.

Today we will take a full day city tour in Shanghai and explore its major attractions.
First, we take you straight to the Jade Buddha Temple, an important Buddhist Temple in Shanghai to get a glimpse of Buddhism and Buddhists in China.
This temple has a history of 120 years, and it contains two jade Buddha sculptures, giving justice as to why it is called Jade Buddha Temple. Following that, you will travel to Yuyuan Garden.
The garden was built in 1559 by an official of Ming Dynasty to please his father. When you visit the garden, you will be impressed by its size, the buildings containing delicate carvings and the artistic rockeries inside it.
After taking a pleasant stroll around the garden, we move onto the nearby Shanghai Old Street. It is lined with many souvenir shops.
Then you will move on to Shanghai Museum. It is one of the most famous museums in China. It houses more than 120,000 items covering bronze ware, pottery, ancient furniture, a great place to learn how Shanghai came to be what it is today.
After that, your Shanghai tour guide will take a leisure walk on the Bund, the center of Shanghai, to check out the colonial buildings there and look into that period of history.
At night, you will watch a world-class Acrobatic Show.

Today, your Shanghai tour guide takes you on a short trip to Zhouzhuang Water Town.
Around Shanghai, there are many small towns, but Zhouzhuang has its own charm. You will take a boat ride on the river winding through the town and explore the various old houses and bridges which have survived for hundreds of years.
Then you will be transferred to the airport and board the flight to Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province. When you land in Chengdu, you will meet the local guide and be driven to the hotel.

Today you will travel to the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center to see the lovely Giant Pandas.
The endangered panda bear is a Chinese icon and important in Chinese culture. We will learn about its environment and what the Chinese government has done to save the species.
After the tour, you will explore the Broad and Narrow Alleys before being dropped off at the airport and fly to Jiuzhaigou.
When you arrive in Jiuzhaigou, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Are you ready for a full day in fairyland?
Today, we visit Jiuzhaigou National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is named after the nine Tibetan villages around it. The park consists of three valleys shaped like the letter Y. They are Rize, Zechawa, and Shuzheng Valleys.
Inside the valleys, you'll find waterfalls and many colorful lakes. During our visit, we will check out the various sites like: Primeval Forest, Arrow Bamboo Lake, Panda Lake, Five Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal, Mirror Lake, etc. by shuttle bus and on foot. It is the most beautiful in mid-October.

Today's excursion starts at Huanglong National Park, also known as The 'World Wonder' and 'Fairy Land on Earth'. It's known for its mountainous backdrops and its beautiful multiple-layered colorful pools, all formed by calcite deposits.
After soaking in 'Fairyland' we then escort you to Jiuzhaigou airport and fly to Xi'an. When you arrive in Xi'an, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Being one of the four great capitals of China, Xi'an has a very long history and many historical sites.
Today you will visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors which contains a large number of life-sized terracotta warriors, chariots, and horses.
These were built by Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of feudal China, to protect him in his afterlife. It is considered the 8th wonder of the world.
Then you will be transferred back to the city area, and you will take a leisure walk along the age-old City Wall which encircles the inner city.
Later on, you will visit the Muslim Quarter, the largest one of its kind in Xi'an. You will take a look at the Great Mosque there and watch a short Shadow Puppet Show, a very old art of story-telling unique in China.

After enjoying a breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide will take you to the Wild Goose Pagoda, an iconic symbol of Xi'an.
The pagoda itself was built in 652 by Xuan Zang, who was a prestigious and respectable monk in the Tang Dynasty.
He spent years on a long and tough journey to Nalanda Temple of India, and he brought back hundreds of Buddhist sutras, sculptures, and Buddha relics.
He translated many of the sutras, and the pagoda was built to keep these sutras.
Then you will spend 1 hour or 2 in Shaanxi History Museum, where we will discover further on the history of Xi'an.
Finally, you will take the super high-speed train to Beijing. When you arrive in Beijing, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Start the day early with a visit to Temple of Heaven. In early mornings, many residents come here to do morning exercises.
Some of them play Taichi. Some dance with swords. Some sing opera. It is a fascinating experience to look at the daily life of the local people.
Afterward, you will explore Temple of Heaven, which served as the venue to offer sacrificing ceremonies to the Heaven during Ming and Qing Dynasties.
After visiting it, you will be guided to Tiananmen Square, the center of the city, where you will visit the National Museum of China.
The museum is one of the best museums in China. It has many precious collections such as the jade burial suit laced with gold thread dating back to Han Dynasty.
After that, we will move on to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace for emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties and their families.
The Forbidden City was built by Emperor Yongle of Ming Dynasty in 1420. Since then, totally 24 emperors lived here. Puyi, the last emperor of China, abdicated in 1912 but remained here until 1924 when Feng Yuxiang, a warlord from Anhui, took the Forbidden City and expelled the last emperor from the palace.
In 1925, it was converted into the Palace Museum and open to all people.
You will visit the main palaces, the imperial garden, the treasure gallery and clock & watch exhibition hall as well as the newly opened areas such as Cining Palace which is the living area of several empress dowagers of the Qing Dynasty.
At last, you will enjoy a delicious Peking roast duck dinner at Shichahai Quanjude Restaurant and watch the impressive traditional performances offered by the restaurant.

In the morning, you will be escorted to the northern outskirts of Beijing to visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu.
A round trip cable car ride is included to help you get on/off the wall. The Great Wall is a sight to behold and it's truly impressive in person. We will spend a few hours walking along the Wall, it's dragon-like silhouette scales across the hillside.
After that, you will travel back to the city center and get off at the Olympic Park to take some photos for the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Then, we will explore the Summer Palace, the imperial summer resort for the royal families of Qing Dynasty.
