Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei province in China. At one time, it included three smaller, individual cities which were Hanhou, Wuchang, and Hanyang. With its rich history and natural beauty, Wuhan is now an important hub in central China. Visitors can sample many of the delicious local delicacies such as Hot-dry noodles (Re Gan Mian noodles), Steamed Wuchang Fish, Jingwu Duck’s Neck, and Occlusal Fossa.
Some of the fantastic attractions in Wuhan include the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Yellow Crane Tower, Wuhan Zoo, Hubei Provincial Museum, East Lake Park, Mulan Heaven Pool, Guiyuan Buddhist Temple, Wuhan Botanical Garden, Mulan Mountain, and Baotong Zenist Temple. However, due to the limited time, the One-Day Tour brings to explores the three incredible attractions which are the Yellow Crane Tower, Hubei Provincial Museum, and Guiyuan Buddhist Temple.
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in downtown Wuhan, you will be met by your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby. You will then be picked up in your private vehicle and driven to the Yellow Crane Tower. Situated on Snake Hill and the banks of Yangtze River, the tower is seen as a symbol of Wuhan. This five-storey, 51.4-meters-high structure is considered one of the "Four Great Towers in China". Each storey of this impressive tower contains a different, interesting exhibit. On the top floor, visitors get a stunning view of the city and the Yangtze River.
Next on the itinerary, is the Hubei Provincial Museum. This popular museum includes three sections which are the Chime Bells Exhibition Hall, the Chu Culture Exhibition Hall and the Comprehensive Exhibition Building.
You will then be driven to a local restaurant, to enjoy a delicious Chinese lunch. It takes around 40 to 50 minutes.
In the afternoon, you will be driven to the Guiyuan Buddhist Temple. This renowned temple is known for its exquisite architecture, and collection of 500 gold Arhat sculptures in Arhat Hall. It is considered an important Zen Buddhist temple in the area.
Next on the tour, is Jianghan Road. It is a lovely pedestrian street and a must-see attraction for visitors to Wuhan.
You will be driven back to your hotel at the end of this wonderful tour.
