Day 1 Guangzhou

Today you will explore the wonderful city of Guangzhou, on this one day tour. First on the itinerary, is visiting the Temple of the Chen Clan. This complex was constructed in the traditional Chinese architectural style and was inhabited by the Chen family for generations. Walking into the temple complex, visitors are greeted by the ornately decorated gate. Inside the temple, you will see the exquisite wood carvings and simple yet elegant furniture that decorate the rooms.

Next, is a visit to the Western Han Nanyue King's Tomb Museum. Nanyue was a state which existed in the early Western Han Dynasty. During this period, Guangzhou was its capital city. In 111 B.C,  Emperor Wu of the Han dynasty annexed the city and later incorporated it into the Han Empire. The museum has numerous priceless historical and cultural relics unearthed from the tomb.

From there, the tour continues with a to visit the Memorial House of Sun Yat-sen. There you will get to know more about Sun Yat-sen.

Finally, before returning to your hotel, enjoy an outside view of the 600m high Guangzhou Tower.
