Despite having incomparable harbor backdrops, incredible museums, leafy parks and colonial treasures that offer some of the most eclectic gems in all of Hong Kong, Kowloon has a reputation for being the city's 'darker side.'
This could be far from the truth and on the contrary according to residents who live here.
You'll often hear complaints by the critics who believe it's out of the way.
However, if you think a 3.5-minute ride on the MTR in an underwater tunnel, or a five-minute ride through the water on the Star Ferry, is far from 'out of the way' and closer to 'let's do it' then taking a tour of Kowloon is definitely in your cards.
Welcome to day 1 of your tour of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. We ease you in, starting soft where your private tour guide will pick you up at your hotel.
