  • Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple of Heaven 3stars similar class

Your private tour of Beijing starts on your arrival, our tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to visit the Beijing Hutongs, a special area widely viewed as the beacon of Beijing culture.

The honorable Hutong reputation dates back from the Yuan dynasty and has a history of more than 700 years.

Its iconic narrow streets and alleyways have made northern China, most especially Beijing the best region to see them.

The architectural silhouettes are usually flat and tourists often think of them looking like small houses.

Most of the northern culture is originated from the Hutong. After, we whisk you away to Prince Gong’s Mansion, the largest palace in the Qing Dynasty.

It was used as the private house of Heshen and Yonglin, and in 1851 Prince Gong became the owner, from whom it got its name nowadays.

Prince Gong’s Mansion witnessed the history of the Qing Dynasty from the dynasty’s peak and through its decline; the residence holds rich historical and cultural information. There’s an old saying – one Prince Gong Mansion, is half a history of Qing Dynasty.

It was in Tiananmen Square where Mao Zedong claimed the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949.

Day 3 Beijing Tour

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

  • Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple of Heaven 3stars similar class

After breakfast, you'll get to explore the legendary Great Wall. Breathtaking and surreal, the Great Wall of China is located in South of Yanqing County and belongs to the northwest part of Beijing's city zone.

The Great Wall served as an important military pass and a vital barrier against the northern minority’s harassment.

Archaeological studies report that it is approximately 21,196 km (13,171 mi) long. There are two main parts to the Great Wall: the southern; and the northern.

The southern part is very steep to the point where some may even call it dangerous, a side rarely visited by tourists.

On this tour, you'll get to experience the northern part, making for a memorable and easy climb.

After trekking through and admiring the Great Wall in all its glory, we're set to visit the Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in the world featuring architectural masterpieces as well as beautiful scenery.

Summer Palace was originally created as a retreat for emperors who sought out an escape from the Beijing scorching summer heat.

It was arguably Asia’s largest and most wonderful royal garden used exclusively to serve emperors and their family.

Today, it is a world cultural and historic heritage site, attracting people from all over the world. It is located in the northwest suburb of Haidian District in Beijing City.

Day 4 Beijing-Departure

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, Sublime China will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to visit the Lama Temple.

Located in the northeast of Beijing, the Lama Template was a gift given by Emperor Kangxi to his fourth son, Prince Yinzhen, who was crowned as Emperor Yongzheng after Emperor Kangxi died.

In 1735, Emperor Yongzheng died and his coffin was kept in the temple for a certain time. The color of glazed tiles of the main halls turned to yellow from green.

In Beijing, traditional styles of architecture are preserved and have a strong presence in the Forbidden City and the Lama Temple.

When you visit, you will feel the gravity of its architectural holiness, truly special place and a must-visit.

After we tour through the Lama Temple, we will move on to Silk Street, one of the most popular foreign attractions in the country.

Silk Street is a magnet for both domestic and foreign tourists, its attractive shops and their cheap prices are undeniable.

It is about hundreds of meters long and also well known as the Leading Foreign Trade Market.

The street lies at the southeastern corner of the diplomatic quarter in Beijing's Chaoyang District and has many hotels and offices of foreign-funded enterprises.

Here's where our unforgettable tour of Beijing ends and we prepare to take you back to the hotel or the airport.
