You'll start your art tour in the morning when our Sublime China tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at the agreed time.
From there we set our eyes on Shanghai, a hotbed for culture, tradition and futuristic modern living.
Among the city's hyper-evolving environment and towering skyscrapers, you'll find an emerging and evolving art scene; one that is on par with Beijing and is only expected to accelerate.
The West Bund opened up two large-scale museums in 2014 alone, the art scene is alive and kicking in Shanghai.
From here we ease into your art tour at Fudan University on Handan Road, one of China's most prestigious and selective universities.
Fudan University is consistently ranked in the top 100 universities in the world and is a part of the C9 League, a group synonymous to the Ivy League universities in the United States of America but for China.
Fudan University is the oldest post-secondary establishment in the country, featuring four campuses downtown with an enrolment of 25,000 full-time students.
Another 11,000 are studying at the School of Continuing Education and Online Education, and also ranks second in the most foreign students in China category; reaching about 1,650.
The campus itself evokes a sense of calmness, you'll feel the gravity of its tranquility as you coast through the campus grounds.
At the same time, you'll notice students playing sports, reading books on the lawn -- post-secondary life at its default disposition.
Also, in the north of downtown Shanghai, there is a scenic street which captures the glory and the culture of old Shanghai: Duoluo Road.
This is a street just 550m long and narrow yet, embraces the greatest essence of modern Chinese cultural history, dubbing it "beautiful" would be an understatement.
Next on the list is Luxun.
Luxun was a great writer and brave human rights activist in the 1920s.
He's often hailed as China's greatest modern day writer for most of the 20th century. Mao Zedong, the communist revolutionary and father of the People's Republic of China named him the, "commander of China's cultural revolution."
It's an interesting visit and a solid source of creative inspiration.
In the afternoon, our art tour continues on and we set our sails to Jade Buddha Temple.
Built in 1918, located in the north of Anyuan Road, the Jade Buddha Temple is a building following the architectural style of Song Dynasty with a precise layout and harmonious structure.
When we enter, we look out for the two precious jade Buddhist statues.
Both are incredibly rare cultural relics and porcelain artworks, they feature the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha, all carved with whole white jade; both sparkling with holiness.
But your tour of Jade Buddha Temple doesn't stop there, you can bet that we'll unlock the mysteries of its precious historical artifacts, all exhibited in Jade Buddha Temple temple, checking all the artsy boxes while coloring out the lines, of course.
And here we are, the last stop of your art tour: the Big Warehouse on Moganshan Road.
Similar to the 798 Factory in Beijing, this warehouse used to be a nation-owned factory. Now it's a gathering place of more than 80 artists from 11 countries.
There are some good art exhibitions and of course many art pieces for sale.
You'll find a bounty worth of artsy treasure worth your while.
Better yet, as per the cherry on top, you'll have time to walk around freely in Shanghai's epicentre of modern art to explore, take photos or relax.
When it's time to leave, your Sublime China tour guide will drive you back to your hotel and we end your one-day art tour in Shanghai.
