Widely known as the Oriental Paris, Shanghai is a modern megacity and is a top destination for foreign travelers and a major transportation hub. It is the most populous city in China with over 24.15 million people.

Today's tour starts off in the morning, where Sublime China will escort you to the Jade Buddha Temple. This temple is about 120 years old, and it is home to two priceless jade Buddha statues, hence the name.

Hereafter, we will make our way to the Shanghai Museum where we'll catch the museum of ancient Chinese art, located on the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China.

Rebuilt at its current location in 1996, it is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums.

It has one of the largest collections of artifacts including bronze, ceramics, ancient coins & seals, antique furniture, and ethnic costumes.

Time flies at the Shanghai Museum and our visitors often spend 1 hour or 2 exploring without feeling bored -- it's a legendary visit and a must add to your China bucket list.

Following this, the tour guide will lead you to the old town of Shanghai to visit the famous Yuyuan Garden.

It is a representative garden style architectural complex built some 450 years ago and contains many interesting elements like: ponds with swimming fish and waving lotus flowers, delicate carvings on windows, walls, and tiles, oddly-shaped rockeries, pavilions, corridors, and pillars.

We then look to Yuyuan, at the top of the walls enclosing the compound, lie vivid sculptures of powerful dragons -- supremely impressive.

After exploring the garden, we will have some time to walk along Shanghai Old Street, which is lined with many vendors where you can do some shopping for souvenirs.

The tour then drives you through the former French Concession where we'll discover the interesting corners in Shanghai Xintiandi.

Xintiandi is now one of the trendiest places in Shanghai with many shops, bars, and restaurants, but here you can also see Shanghai’s traditional architecture, the Shikumen brick houses.

The tour then takes you to the Bund, which is translated as "Outer Beach."

The Bund is a treasured landmark in Shanghai and it's famous for its beautiful view of the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui in the Pudong District.

Its skyline features many historic buildings, which once served as banks and trading houses from many Western countries in the colonial era. Thereafter we make our way to onboard a magical evening river cruise along the Huangpu River to take in the city’s enchanting night views.
